hi, guys, at least one of my other computers works, so i'm still able to pos . the bad thing is that i am working straifgt nsince three days, and even tomorrow!!! I need to go to one of the companys i work for. it turned out, after three days of trying to settle things, that the new grub delivered with ubuntu 9.10 seems to be overwriting the mbr in such a way that it can't be fixed by ANY windows version or other bootloader. so yesterday i saved all data from my drives (3hrs), repartitioned all drives and now slowly start to set up things again . it's like a new start into a brighter future... :-))
